Delphi Drug & Alcohol Council, Inc.,
We operate a full service Out-Patient Treatment Program that is fully licensed by the NYS Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS). Out-Patient Treatment Services are provided to both male and female clients, teen years through adult, and include: evaluations, drug screening, individual, family and group counseling. Referrals come from the criminal justice system, school districts,parents self-referral. Delphi is also a NYS -DMV approved treatment agency for DWI evaluation & treatment services.
Domestic Violence & Abuse Course for Men (DVACM)
The Domestic Violence and Abuse Course for Men is a dual intervention program for men only with domestic violence and substance abuse issues. Participants in this program are required to complete 26 sessions on domestic violence and how to eliminate it. In addition, the participants are evaluated for chemical abuse and dependency. Participants must agree to abstain from the use of drugs and alcohol during their participation. If appropriate, clients must attend and complete both treatment and the domestic violence program. Clients in need of treatment services can be admitted into Delphi’s Out-Patient Treatment Program or referred to other appropriate treatment services, as necessary. “One Family/One Judge”“From orders of protection, to child custody determinations to divorce decrees, related matters would be handled in one courtroom, promoting not just informed decision making but also efficient case management, finally and forever changing the way we treat families and children in our justice system.” Honorable Judith S. Kaye, Chief Judge New York Court of Appeals The Monroe County Integrated Domestic Violence Court (IDV Court) was established to meet the mandate set forth by New York State Chief Judge Judith Kaye “to improve the quality of justice we provide to families victimized by domestic violence.” As envisioned by Judge Kaye, the IDV Court is based on the concept of “One Family/One Judge,” and is designed to simplify the court process for victims of domestic violence seeking court intervention
Comprehensive Case ManagementDelphi’s Comprehensive Case Management Program, funded by the United Way, is designed to provide comprehensive case management services to clients referred by the criminal justice/court system. The objective is to assist these clients to access services necessary to increase their overall wellness and achieve long-term, sustained recovery. Through our diverse programs, Delphi successfully assists individuals, families and the community by working to find solutions to these serious problems. Drug and alcohol abuse and chemical dependency devastate individual, families and communities without regard to age, gender, race or socio-economic group. | ||
